Nigeria is not just a compulsory topic for A-levels in several German regions, it is one of the most dynamic regions in Africa, and the theatre of economic, social and environmental conflicts. This teachers conference addresses major issues of present-day Nigeria like terrorism, economic growth and corruption. Cultural aspects include authentic examples of Nigerian music, religion and economic prospects.
The seminar will take place online and includes workshop parts. Teaching ideas based on the current media reports and several works of fiction will be introduced and discussed.
