The conference will include a keynote on teaching children's and young adult literature followed by a variety of workshops. The conference starts with two keynotes:
- From Picture Books to Young Adult Literature: Principles of Learning with Literary Texts in the EFLC, Prof. Dr. Ivo Steininger (Justus-Liebig-Universität, Gießen)
- Reading English Interactively and in Depth: Selecting Literary Texts, Methods, and Tasks, Prof. Dr. Janice Bland (Nord University, Bodø, Norway), sponsored by British Council Germany

The workshop selection includes:
- A bestseller and TikTok sensation in the EFL classroom:
Emily Lockhart’s "We Were Liars" with Prof. Dr. Peter Hohwiller
- Wordplay with Winnie-the-Pooh and Co with Mirjam Haas

- The picturebook for English teaching: enchanting reading both with and against the text! with Prof. Dr. Janice Bland
- Students Teaching Other Students Young Adult Literature –
A Whole Unit Based on Their Expert Knowledge with Jelena Kronenberger
- Young Adult Climate Fiction with Sarah Wegener
